Based on extensive research and interviews into the best practices of top performing companies, this innovative program provides a distinctive developmental process for improving organizational effectiveness, commitment, and accountability, while creating a responsive, collaborative work environment.

The Benefit To You
Using a combination of instruction, role-plays, and tailored workshop exercises, all participants develop action plans that become part of the performance management and development system for the organization. Participants will:

  • Learn the 12 key points of the coach’s belief system
  • Develop the 5 coaching skills
  • Invoke the coaching principles of joint diagnosis and remedy via the G.R.O.W. model
  • Visualize the Shape of the Coaching Moment™
  • Model the characteristics of excellent coaches
  • Practice the “how to” of Coaching
  • Apply a 4 step coaching contract in each intervention
  • Employ Effective Feedback Planners as a systematic approach to preparing, conducting and documenting Coaching Moments

What We Do
Coaching For Business LeadersSM is a tailored two-day program, customized for the company environment and adjusted in its delivery as applicable to the participating managers.

The program includes intake, prework, self-assessment, 360-feedback instruments, planning tools and follow-up to translate learning into results for the entire team. This method creates a repeatable and measurable process for every employee who needs to coach employees, so you achieve your goals.

A third day, Coaching and the Team, is available to reinforce the major concepts of the first two days, and presents new content, discussion and exercises utilizing coaching as a vehicle for improving group performance.

Team functions are diagnosed by incorporating the values, preferences and styles within the group.
