Give Your Career a Boost

The Benefit To You
Executive coaching is a very powerful, personal learning experience. It bridges the gap between what managers are asked to do and what they have been trained to do. You have a confidential advisor, who assesses your performance, acts as a sounding board, and challenges your thought process. It enhances your ability to thoroughly and thoughtfully examine issues with an open-minded approach and interact effectively with different personality styles.

Coaching increases self-awareness, enhances leadership skills, improves performance, helps gain colleagues' respect and achieve business objectives.

What We Do
In advance we interview selected participants to establish a baseline of current attitudes and perceptions. Through direct and honest feedback we can help pinpoint blind spots, alter managerial styles, move through a transition, and keep your career on track.

Executives can compare perceptions from different workplace sources, measure performance in relation to goals, improve decision making, clarify the expectations of others, and prioritize development needs.

Then we develop a plan of action for professional growth, including targeted development suggestions keyed to giving the executive specific recommendations for improving performance. This translates the increase in professional skills into an increase in productivity.

How We Do It
Typically, the model we use integrates the following seven steps:

  1. Initial Meeting. In this getting acquainted session, we mutually agree that we can work together. At this time we agree on what information will be kept confidential or shared with your employer.
  2. Assessment. We begin by reviewing your business objectives, assessing your core competencies, and defining your personal goals to determine strengths and identify improvement opportunities.
  3. Development Plan. Based on the assessment feedback, we then establish our coaching issues and goals, and set the ground rules for a game plan. In addition to one-on-one coaching, we may attend meetings to observe.
  4. Coaching. In scheduled strategy sessions we will work on your specific areas of development. As needed, we will review your written communication and coach you on your oral communication.
  5. Measurement. To gauge your progress, we may also meet with your colleagues.
  6. Interaction. Based on your preference and schedule, you will have unlimited access to me by e-mail, phone, fax, and face-to-face visits. Since the plan is dynamic, you'll have the flexibility to modify it.
  7. Follow-up. Once you meet your goals, we are available for periodic follow-ups, consultation and fine-tuning.
